ABOUT LESSONS

Lessons are 1 hour in-the-saddle with 30 minutes of supervised time for getting your horse ready and putting them away. Lesson are fun, intense and educational. Lessons are rider focused and based on experience, ability and interest. We help you meet your goals.

Lessons are for everyone. Whether your goal is to enjoy riding recreationally, or to launch your show jumping career, we have a horse and an instructor for you. Learn more than just riding with our quiet trained lesson horses.  Lessons include horsemanship skills both on and off the horse.

Instructors are insured, and qualified or certified in the various riding disciplines taught. We follow Equine Canada and CHA guidelines for safety.

Adults will appreciate the friendly, safe, atmosphere with the ability to learn at your own pace.

All riders will appreciate the chance to take Rider Level exams and set themselves again recognized standards of skill.

Lessons take place year round, either in our scenic outdoor ring, or large bright indoor arena. Private and semi-private lesson can be scheduled at your convenience by calling the ranch. Group sessions start regularly.  Lessons with Drive Service Dates:     

• 5 sessions: Feb 27, Mar 6, 13, 20, 27. Makeup Date April 3. Cost: $157.50 for 5 lessons. Drive Service $40. 
• 5 sessions: Apr 10, 17, May 1, 8, 15 Makeup Date May 22. Cost: $157.50 for 5 lessons. Drive Service $40.
• 5 sessions: May 29, June 5, 12, 19, 26 Makeup Date June 26 Trail Ride. Cost: $157.50 for 5 lessons. Drive Service $40.

SALE:  sign up and pay for all 3 sessions before January 30, and receive 10% off. Normal cost $592.50 for all three, discount $59.25, $533.25 for all 3 sessions.

Pick/up drop off is at Thunder Bay Mall at 10AM/1:15 or 1:15/4:30.
