ABOUT Birthday Parties

Birthday parties at Dreamfields are fun! Children given a tour, fitted with an approved riding helmet and brought to the indoor arena where their horses await. Children receive a 1/2 hour of riding time. Horses are lead to start off, and children will receive riding instruction so they can stop, start and steer. As soon as they are mounted the fun begins: we play red light-green light; and other games. Once your children are safely riding, we may let them ride alone without being lead. We put children back on a lead so each child can try trotting (faster than walking) if they wish.

After riding, you can host your child's party in our lounge, or use our picnic area. We have a kettle, coffee maker and microwave and BBQ available.  You prepare as if coming for a picnic.

We have hot and cold running water in the barn and an outhouse for facilities.

Dreamfields also will give your a  $5 off coupon for every child who attends the party.

All children who are riding need to have a release form signed by a legal parent or guardian. You can print off a youth release from our Youth Release Form page (link is on the left)

SCHEDULE

Birthday parties can happen year round. In the winter, have children dress for an outdoor winter activity. In the summer, running shoes and long pants are recommended. We have an indoor riding ring in case of poor weather. You can arrange your party to take place any time, but we ask that you reserve ahead of time,  call the farm to check dates and time. PRICE

Birthday parties are $20 per child. When you bring more than 6 children we add, at no extra cost, an extra 1/2 hour of programmed activity (not riding, but involving horses).
